Turnberry, the Luxury Collection Resort located on the Ayrshire coast, has entered into a joint venture with Edinburgh-based Maximillion Events to launch a brand new outdoor activity centre at the internationally renowned golf resort.

The move adds to Turnberry’s growing family credentials with a range of children’s activities available for the upcoming summer holidays. In addition to the resort’s comprehensive summer activity programme for families, Turnberry Adventures will allow corporate group and leisure guests to enjoy outdoor pursuits including quad biking, archery, horse riding, water zorbing and GPS treasure hunts. Launching in June 2013, Turnberry Adventures is designed to maximise the wide variety of natural resources available on the 800 acre Turnberry estate.
Both parties are investing into the new initiative which will include the introduction of some new outdoor activities, enhanced trails for quad biking and an off-road driving track.
Maximillion will also facilitate a range of team building programmes for the corporate market staged both inside and around the hotel.

The partnership is a boost to Maximillion which was founded in 1989 by John Strachan and is an award-winning provider of corporate team building and event management services.
