Leading DJ Trevor Nelson, who presents shows on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, is to play a set after racing at QTS Ladies Night at Ayr Racecourse on Saturday 6 August.
Trevor (pictured above) will take to the decks following the last race and entertain what is certain to be a huge crowd with a 90 minute set in the Ayrshire Suite at the course.
His career has seen him awarded four Mobos for Best DJ, been presented with a Gold Lifetime Achievement Award by the Sony Radio Academy and in 2002 he was awarded an MBE for work with the Millennium Volunteers.
Trevor has also presented and worked on a huge variety of television shows including BBC 3’s Grammys Coverage, Trevor Nelson’s Urban Choice on BBC2, Soul Nation on Channel 4 and he has twice been presenter for the Mobo Awards.
Trevor has also released many top selling compilation albums his latest being The Trevor Nelson Collection 3.
